Abstract.
Whether
indeterminism undermines moral responsibility by subverting one or more of
responsibility’s requirements is something that has received close
attention in the recent literature on free will. In this paper, I take
issue with Gerald Harrison’s attempt to deflect various considerations for
the view that indeterminism threatens responsibility either by threatening
the control that responsibility requires or by posing a problem of luck.
